JM Rizzi

JM Rizzi, also known as JMR, was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1975 and found his passion for art at a young age. Influenced by the city's vibrant energy and inspired by the early street art movement, he earned a Fine Art degree from the School of Visual Arts in 1997. He then brought his colorful vision to the streets, building a reputation in both street art and fine art. His work has become iconic in his hometown of New York City and in Dallas, where he now lives. With major commissions worldwide, his art appears in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. He has been featured in street art books and publications including The New York Times, The London Times, The Wall Street Journal, Elle Japan, and Milk HK. He has also collaborated with brands such as Nike, Emilio Pucci, Proenza Schouler, and Jimmy Choo. Through a bold use of motion, scale, and color, JM Rizzi creates a dynamic symphony of shapes and forms that pulse together. His paintings balance seriousness and sensuality while retaining the fearless energy he is known for. These are the works of a mature painter at the height of his powers.
