JM Rizzi

Brooklyn-born in 1975, JM Rizzi—often working under the name JMR—found his calling for art early on. Fueled by the city's gritty vitality and inspired by the trailblazers of street art, he earned a Fine Art degree from the School of Visual Arts in 1997. He then took his vibrant visions to the streets, leaving his mark on the urban canvas. Now a celebrated figure in both street and fine art circles, Rizzi's work has become emblematic of his hometown, New York City, and Dallas, where he lives today. His large-scale commissions span the globe, with pieces in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. His art has appeared in street art anthologies and major publications including The New York Times, The London Times, The Wall Street Journal, Elle Japan, and Milk HK. He has also partnered with brands such as Nike, Emilio Pucci, Proenza Schouler, and Jimmy Choo. Driven by a bold exploration of movement, scale, and color, Rizzi orchestrates a mesmerizing interplay of shapes and forms that flow into one another.
